After a long battle between the best of the best at Troon Welbeck winners finally came through to collect their trophys.  Bert Ferguson collected the main prize again with a 3rd successive title to his name.  That makes the 54 year old scratch golfer the only man in the history of the club to lift the trophy 4 times.

In the Peter Howie a new member has lifted the trophy, John Wishart played excellent golf all week and i'm sure all his opponents agree the 15 handicap will not be there for long if he continues his recent form.
